SUNY Delhi Students Construct New Cabin at Camp Shankitunk

 

            Although
the construction season is nearing an end and this year's local camping season
is over, there is a great deal of excitement at 4-H Camp Shankitunk.  SUNY Delhi carpentry and architectural
freshman plus masonry students have collaborated to design and construct their
first camper cabin.

New Camperships

Many Delaware County kids go to camp at reduced costs due to the Gladstone Campership which pays $100 towards camp for 4-H youth and the Lennox Campership which pays $100 towards camp for farm families. We also have a new Campership called the Peg Ruff Memorial Campership which will pay all, or part, of a child to go to camp. This campership is based on need and desire to go to camp.
